All Level I students will participate in 3 days of classroom instruction per the California Department of Fish & Wildlife’s hunter education requirements.
In order for us to administer the final exam and hunter education certificate number, all students must be registered for the hunter education class through the CA DFW’s website by 9:45PM the Sunday night of their camp. Hunter education class registration is SEPARATE from summer camp registration.
IMPORTANT: All students are required to obtain a California Get Outdoors ID (GO ID) prior to registering for California Hunter Education courses. If you have previously held a CDFW license (i.e. Fishing), your GO ID is printed on the license above your name. Click here to get a GO ID. Click here for instructions.
